Wherever your journey begins, Patras Smart Hotel is easy to reach by car or public transport, from Athens, Western Greece and the Peloponnese.
From Athens: To reach Patras by car from Athens, select the new Athens - Corinth National Road. After Corinth, continue on the right traffic stream to enter the Corinth - Patras National Highway. The total Athens - Patras route is about 218 km.
From Athens International Airport' El. Venizelos':
Starting from the airport, enter Attiki Odos and drive to the end of it (at Eleusis). After you exit Attiki Odos, you will automatically enter the Corinth / Patras New National Road. If you wish to travel by bus to Patras from Athens International Airport, you can take the X93 bus, which departs from the airport's main building (ports 4-5) and get off at the Kifissos bus station from where you can take the bus heading to Patras. From Athens International Airport "El. Venizelos" you can also reach Patras by OSE's (Hellenic Railways Organization) buses and trains. Take the Athens Suburban Railway to Kiato and then take the bus that leaves every 1 hour from Kiato heading to Patras. You can take the Metro from any other point in Athens to either Nerantziotissa station or Larissa station. From there, you can transfer to the Suburban Railway (Proastiakos), heading towards Kiato. Finally, you can take a bus to Patra using the earlier-mentioned method.
From Pyrgos, Ancient Olympia, Kyllini, Araxos: Access to Patras from these areas is carried out by the Patras - Pyrgos National Road.
From Tripoli: Patras is connected with Tripoli via Highway 111.
From Central Greece (Agrinio, Messolonghi, Arta): The Ioannina - Antirrio National Road connects Patras with northwestern Greece and Epirus. Arriving at Antirrio, you can choose the Rio-Antirrio ferry boat or cross the bridge to reach Patras.
Arriving in Patras
- From the 'KTEL' bus terminal you can take bus no 5, disembark at 'Papaflessa' stop and you'll be just opposite the hotel or take the city train, get at 'Agios Andreas' stop and you'll be just behind the hotel.
- From the new port, you can take bus no 5, get off at the 'Papaflessa' stop, and be just opposite the hotel.
- By car from Athens, follow EO8, Olimpia Odos/A8 and E65 to the New Patras - Athens National Road in Patras. Take the exit toward the port from Perimetriki Patron/ A5/ E55. Continue on Patras - Athens New National Road. Take Othonos and Amalias to Evmilou Street.
- By car from Pyrgos, take Aiolou to Ermou. Follow E55 to Andrea Papandreou at the seaside. Take the exit toward Patra-D/Ovrya/EO4 from E55. Follow Andrea Papandreou and Akti Dimaion to Evmilou Street in Patras.
- From the Rio - Antirrio Bridge, exit at the first exit (Patras port centre), continue on the National Road. At the 3rd traffic light, turn right on Kanellopoulos and left when you reach the coastal road. At the traffic lights after the St. Andrew church, turn left in Papaflessa and immediately right to Evmilou. The entrance to our parking lot awaits you after you pass two city blocks.
