BY CAR

From the West (Athens, Thessaloniki, etc.):
Follow signs from Egnatia Odos Motorway (E90) to Kavala (650 km from Athens via Ethniki Odos, 152 km from Thessaloniki). From Egnatia, take exit 31 toward KAVALA/DRAMA and then turn right to Kavala. Stay on the main road (7is Merarchias str.) until you reach the seafront. Just before the coastal road (at the traffic lights), turn left onto Eleftheriou Venizelou Street, where you will find the hotel at number 27.

From the East (Xanthi, Turkey, etc.):
Follow the Egnatia Odos Motorway (E90) in the direction of Igoumenitsa, Thessaloniki and Kavala. Take the exit EO2, signed "Kavala East". Turn right toward EO Kavalas Xanthis/EO2 and then left onto EO Kavalas Xanthis/EO2 (signs for Kavala). At the city entrance, turn right onto Sappeon Street and then follow the roads Sappeon, Astiggos, Sappeon, Gallikis Dimokratias, Omonias and Dragoumi, then turn right onto El. Venizelou Street, where you will find Galaxy Hotel at number 27.

From the North (Drama):
Following the National Road Drama-Kavala, enter the city and stay on the main road (7is Merarchias str.) until you reach the seafront. Just before the coastal road (at the traffic lights), turn left onto Eleftheriou Venizelou Street, where you will find the hotel at number 27.

From the Northwest (Serres, Sofia, etc.):
Drive towards the east exit of Serres via Periferiaki Serron (Peripheral Road of Serres) if coming from Bulgaria, or via Megalou Alexandrou Street if coming from Serres city centre, to reach the National Road "Ethniki Odos Serron-Dramas". Stay on Serron-Dramas for about 40 km, and just after passing Lefkothea village, turn right onto "Epar. Odos Neas Brafas-Nikisianis" (there is a blue sign at Lefkothea showing the direction to "Kavala/Proti"). Crossing the village of Stathmos Aggistis, stay on the main road "Ethniki Odos Kavalas-Serron" for about 40 km. At Stavros village traffic lights, continue straight ahead to the sharp turn at "Ethniki Odos Kavalas-Dramas", which will take you into the city centre. Stay on the main road (7is Merarchias str.) until you reach the seafront. Just before the coastal road (at the traffic lights), turn left onto Eleftheriou Venizelou Street, where you will find the hotel at number 27.

BY FERRY

From Kavala port, walk along the coast in the direction of the city centre and in about 350 metres you will see the hotel.

From Keramoti port, you can reach Galaxy Hotel by public bus (KTEL Kavala), which operates many daily routes, by taxi, or by car: Follow the main road to Egnatia Odos (E90/A2) and follow the green signs to Kavala. Enter Egnatia Odos and take the EO2 exit, "Kavala East". Turn right toward EO Kavalas Xanthis/EO2 and then left onto EO Kavalas Xanthis/EO2 (signs for Kavala). At the city entrance, turn right onto Sappeon Street and then follow the roads Sappeon, Astiggos, Sappeon, Gallikis Dimokratias, Omonias and Dragoumi. Turn right onto El. Venizelou Street, where you will find Galaxy Hotel at number 27.

BY INTERCITY BUS (KTEL)

There are many routes to and from Kavala: Thessaloniki, Athens, Alexandroupolis, Serres, Komotini, Drama, Xanthi, Philippi and other coastal towns near Kavala. The intercity bus terminal is just a 2-minute walk (300 m) from the hotel. From the hotel, follow Erithrou Stavrou, Averof and Filikis Eterias streets, and at the junction with Mitropolitou Chrysostomou Street you will see the terminal.

BY AIR

Kavala "Megas Alexandros" Airport is located in Chrysoupoli, about 30 km from the city. There are year-round routes to and from Athens, and during the summer season there are many seasonal and charter connections with cities across Europe. From the airport, you can reach the city by regular public bus (KTEL Kavala). The taxi fare from the airport to Kavala is approximately €35. If you rent a car, follow the signs to Egnatia Odos (E90/A2) toward Kavala. After the airport, turn left onto the main road, then right to enter Egnatia Odos motorway toward Kavala. Take the exit EO2, signed "Kavala East". Turn right toward EO Kavalas Xanthis/EO2 and then left onto EO Kavalas Xanthis/EO2 (signs for Kavala). At the city entrance, turn right onto Sappeon Street, follow the roads Sappeon, Astiggos, Sappeon, Gallikis Dimokratias, Omonias and Dragoumi, then turn right onto El. Venizelou Street, where you will find Galaxy Hotel at number 27.
